2007 Finger Lakes Tap Dance Festival
A Tap Legacy Program, the Finger Lakes Tap Dance Festival was an amazing success in 2006 bringing together all levels of dancers for three days of classes, discussion, jam sessions, and shows. 2007 promises to be even better, so don't miss out on The Finger Lakes Tap Dance Festival, March 30 - April 1, 2007. The currently scheduled guest artists for the festival include Dr. Jimmy Slyde, Dianne "Lady Di" Walker, Michelle Dorrance, Rocky Mendes, Andrew J. Nemr, and Jason Samuels Smith. The festival includes Workshop Classes, Tap Jam and Showcase, the All-Star Performance "Walking in Time" at the Historic State Theatre of Ithaca, Screenings of Rare Archived Footage, and Panel Discussion.
